Fur Sure Salon Policies help to ensure the health and safety of your pet, your groomer, as well as other Canine Clients
- Dog must be properly licensed by the state
- Dog must be current with rabies vaccination
- Dog must be current with vaccines including Bordetella (“kennel cough”), Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus (DHPP)
- Dog should have a current lyme disease vaccine recommended for this area of Pennsylvania
Unlike other grooming salons, I schedule specific appointment times both in my home salon and in the owners’ homes. In order to provide minimal interruption while tending to your pet and for the consideration of other Canine Clients, I ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment and that you pick up your furry friend when the service is finished. A late charge of $1 per minute may be applied for those who fail to pick up their pet in a timely manner. While I understand there can be unforeseen circumstances, missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 24 hour prior notice are subject to a $15 cancellation fee due at the time of the appointment. Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment.
Although I am equipped to safely house your pet during the appointment, Fur Sure Salon is not a licensed doggie day care or kennel. If you need a recommendation for a qualified kennel or day care facility, please ask.
I am an expert pet groomer with years of knowledge, but I am not a veterinarian. For the health and safety of your beloved pup, please make sure to complete the Pet Release Form or the Matted Pet Release Form that will allow me to obtain the best attention possible in the unlikely event that your dog suffers a trauma requiring veterinarian care.
