Fur Sure Salon policies and procedures help to ensure the health and safety of everyone. This includes your pet, your groomer, as well as other canine clients.

Vaccination Requirements

  • Dog must have a current license by the state
  • Dog must be current with rabies vaccination
  • I recommend that dogs be current with vaccines including Bordetella (kennel cough”), Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus (DHPP)
  • We also recommend a current lyme disease vaccine for this area of Pennsylvania

Dropoff, Pickup, and Cancellation

Unlike other grooming salons, I schedule specific, one-on-one appointment times in my home salon. I strive to provide minimal interruption while tending to your pet and for the consideration of other canine clients. For this reason, I ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment and that you pick up your furry friend when the service is finished. Furthermore, I do charge $1/minute for those who fail to pick up their pet in a timely manner. As a pet parent, I understand there can be unforeseen circumstances. In contrast, appointments cancelled with less than 24 hour prior notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. This fee is due at the time of the appointment. Please contact me as soon as possible in the event that you need to reschedule your appointment.

I am generally equipped to safely house your pets for the duration of the appointment. Be that as it may, Fur Sure is not a licensed doggie day care or boarding kennel. If you need a recommendation for a qualified kennel or day care facility, please ask.

Other Paperwork

I am an expert pet groomer with years of knowledge, but I am not a veterinarian. For the health and safety of your beloved pup, please make sure to complete the Pet Release Form or the Matted Pet Release Form that will allow me to obtain the best attention possible in the unlikely event that your dog suffers a trauma requiring veterinarian care.

Thank you for reading all the way to the bottom! The policies and procedures parade has been cancelled due to lack of interest.
